Goal(s):

  • Tackle discovery and synthesis within expansive alloy and chemistry spaces, such as for high entropy alloys, by combinatorial thin film and directed energy deposition growth methods.
  • Leverage rapid fingerprinting and efficient descriptors to couple high throughput synthesis with integrated characterization.
  • Partner with specialized facilities at SLAC, NIST, and Brookhaven National Lab for coupled high fidelity characterization, such as EXAFS and PDF, on combinatorial sample sets.
